This action aims to boost research collaboration, education and public awareness in andrology, the field of science that deals with male health, including the study of the increasing incidence of infertility and testicular cancer, the association of poor reproductive function with poor health, and male predisposition to serious diseases, leading to shorter life expectancy in men.

The Department of Medical Genetics and the Institute of Reproductive Genetics in Münster are growing! Come work with us by joining the CRC 1748 Principles of Reproduction - Unravelling the Molecular Mechanisms of Male Infertility. We are looking for curious minds and driven scientists at the PhD student and post-doctoral levels.

  • 2 PhD positions in Julia Wallmeier's group on cilia in early development and Corinna Friedrich's group on meiosis and male infertility
  • 1 PhD and 1 Postdoc position in Frank Tüttelmann's group on translational reproductive genetics, focusing on the identification and validation of novel infertility genes.
