This action aims to boost research collaboration, education and public awareness in andrology, the field of science that deals with male health, including the study of the increasing incidence of infertility and testicular cancer, the association of poor reproductive function with poor health, and male predisposition to serious diseases, leading to shorter life expectancy in men.

GdR Symposium on ‘POHaD: Paternal Origins of Health and Disease‘
With a unique lineup of invited speakers, this meeting will gather international scientists interested in how male germ cells are sensitive to external exposures and the impacts beyond fertilization, and is open to a broad audience interested in reproduction, epigenetics, and transmission of altered traits. This exciting program will cover a variety of topics with talks by Adelheid Soubry (KU Leuven), Jamie Hackett (EMBL Rome), Sarah Kimmins (McGill University), Noora Kotaja (University of Turku), Anaïs Vitorino-Carvalho (INRAE/Université de Tours), Romain Barrès (Université Côte d'Azur), Raffaele Teperino (Helmholtz Munich), Kaylee Holleman (Erasmus MC Rotterdam), Blair Schneider (Children's Hospital of Philadelphia), and Amrita Raja Ravi Shankar (INRAE)
